While I was a PacifiCon yesterday, I got to play with the new Elecract KH1 CW Radio. It’s incredibly small and full-featured. By that I mean it comes with EVERYTHING you need to get on the air including an internal battery, internal ATU, whip antenna that can cover 20 meters and up, a keyer, and purpose-built carry case.
For around $1000 you can carry it around with you and operate CW at 5 watts – whenever you get the urge! It’s basically the size of an HT. Incredible!
