I’m trying to reply to W8LLW on 14.xxx calling CQ but I can’t seem to reach him.
I tried on 25%
Then 50%
Then 100%
Nada.
This is on my 9:1 in the front trees with the transformer in the window and counterpoise/50ft coax completely inside.
I guess I should have tried the attic 9:1 since its higher and oriented differently but he’s not calling CQ anymore.
I’m thinking about replacing it with a 49:1 because I’m probably losing a lot of power which doesn’t help with my compromised install.
