Mexico, Argentina, Japan, and a Bosch Oven

So on 20 meters on FT8 at 50% or more on my iCom 7100, our high tech Bosch Oven likes to pretend that someone is tapping the keys on the front panel.

My radio has actually turned on the oven when operating at 50 watts or more (even with the 49:1 in the front yard – way on the other side of the house and outside).

On FT8 JA7IGE and I had a QSO at 95% power (which is about 95 watts on my 7100).

Apparently the oven started freaking out, so I put 3 ferrite on the 220v wire and used electrical tape to hold them on because the clip on ferrite holes was still too small.

Then I tried watts on my Icom 7100 with the 49:1 front yard antenna.

And hello, Mexico!

Then I switched to my EARCHI 9:1 in the attic which easily fools my oven but can DX well since its up at maybe 35 feet, horizontally despite being inside an attic.

Hello, Argentina!

No oven weirdness and I can again DX with both antennas!
